So Chris and I are currently amongst 3 Finalists for the ADAA Animation catergory. We're traveling to Toronto this week to attend the awards ceremony. Wish us luck! It will be live streamed! Yay (scary)!
If any of you guys are interested in watching the awards (this Friday at 4:30PM) you can watch here:https://my.adobeconnect.com/_a295153/adaa2012/
(You may be able to sign in as a Guest? but if not here's the registration link: http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/event/index.cfm?event=detail&id=2102051&loc=en_us)
Thanks friends and family for all of the love and support during our project! It was a tough one, but the hard work seemed to pay off! Now off to hopefully bigger and better things. More shorts!
I am going to try harder to keep this blog updated and hopefully link to a bunch of projects that I've been working on lately. Also!! I am happy to say I have recently accepted a staff position at Psyop, an awesome company whose work I've admired for a very long time.
Our piece, Ramus.

Here's the progress behind shot 13, from animation to render to composite. Things to fix, but good for now. Critique is very welcome!

Monkey Quest "Guardian Knights" from Nathan Love on Vimeo.
Been at Nathan Love this summer doing modeling and texturing! Soo much fun. Helped work on character, prop, weapon, and enviro texturing for this Monkey Quest Trailer for Nickelodeon. Pretty neat/lucky for me, the weapons/hands got two close ups woohoo! It's been an awesome project to work on at a really fun place to work...and a huge learning experience about working in a pipeline as well...

We present to you: Ghum Brahe. The Strong. The BOLD. The BRAVE. The Nimble-minded clay creature, born whilst eating burgers and eggs at the local diner. (Named after Tycho Brahe.)
This is a work-in-progress. A just-for-fun short is in the works.
